moral dilemma

i'm in a bit of a quandry. theres this game i really want to play called demigod, and i was thinking of torrenting it. but, it turns out that stardock (the studio behind it) is struggling to keep afloat, and they refuse to put DRM in there game becuase they trust people not to download their stuff. and i am currently strapped for cash, so its gonna be awhile if i ever get the game. if anyone reads this, please help me out.
